Karen Brieger is the Founder & CEO of Pinnacle Connections HR. Her HR journey began in the fast-paced world of staffing, where she learned the ins and outs of candidate placement, client relations and business development. This was a foundational position where she gained an appreciation for the connection between employees and customer success.
Later she partnered with a CEO who taught her what it meant to work with and for a team. She was given an opportunity to lead value creation initiatives that came from delivering excellent customer and employee experiences.
Karen is known for her genuine curiosity about people and her knack for navigating complex situations. She has the natural ability to foster growth while balancing the needs of employees and the goals of the business, ultimately driving sustainable success.
With a diverse career spanning organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Smiths Medical, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Powerspan Corp, Bottomline Technologies, NextPhase Medical Devices, and Therapy Brands, Karen has a wealth of experience across various industries.
Transitioning from leading HR teams as an in-house Chief People Officer, Karen now focuses on bringing her expertise to small businesses through fractional HR leadership. Her goal is to make impactful HR leadership accessible to companies that may not yet be ready for a full-time Human Resources executive.
Karen is a Pennsylvania native who now lives in New Hampshire with her family and 2 rescue dogs.
